PropertyNut is launching an initiative to make every Real Estate Agent in the United States aware of Inflammatory Breast Cancer or IBC. Our intention is to have every Agent share this awareness with every women they know. The result will save or extend the lives of many women that we love and cherish.
Doing our Part – launching today as a long term campaign, PropertyNut will Donate 10% of EVERY new Agent monthly Subscription every month the Agent continues to subscribe to the marketing service. The Agent and their Listings get found by Buyers and Renters on the Internet and Google and we help fund the cure and build awareness of IBC. To sign up as an “Agent for IBC Cure” in our Army of Agents, click the link to read the BLOG for specifics.
IBC Summary – IBC or Inflammatory Breast Cancer often has no lumps. Though rare, huge numbers of cases are being treated the past few years. Anne, my wife is surviving her second year of IBC. This is the MOST aggressive form of breast cancer. Every case requires mastectomy and has a very high mortality rate. The cancer cells form in sheets that clog the lymph vessels of the breast. The red rash is often misdiagnosed as a heat rash or bra irritation or even an infection.
It is vital that every women know the symptoms for early detection and correct diagnosis. Mammograms or ultra sound will not detect IBC. Many doctors and breast cancer surgeons don’t even recognize the symptoms. My wife’s first two surgeons that examined her 4 centimeter lump did not diagnose the red rash and rough orange peal skin as IBC. They both considered doing lumpectomies which would have been fatal. Only the radiologist recognized the IBC and recommended a surgeon that could verify his findings. She’s still here today because one radiologist knew what he was looking at. Two TOP Scottsdale Arizona breast surgeons did not. You must know for you and for those that love you.
Below is a link to a story about an ending that will have many repeated beginnings…. but we can choose to take two simple, no cost actions to make a difference in lives of those around us.
Here is Marilyn’s DeCarlo’s Story recently published in the the Orange County Register, online – it’s fairly short and very painful to read. Honor her by reading some or all of her story. Her sacrifice and that of her family is worth so much more if you will. Then, please read on.
We all are affected in one way or another by IBC. Some are affected now, as is the case with my wife and our children as we are living through her two year milestone with IBC. Others, when their heart stops as they realize their worst fears upon hearing the results from tests or biopsies that too many will hear. Some of us are affected as brothers, sisters, moms or dads comforting and helping with all we have hoping and praying for the best.

How marvelous when one should be down about a disease right at home and you choose to fight back by gathering the troops to make the information more known to thousands. Thanks for your openness and willingness to help others when you had an unbelievable experience yourselves. True love of mankind and fellow associates, family and even those unknown to you. The world is a better place due to your presence and presents! Since it is the season for giving kudos to you both for sharing and taking the time and money to do this promotion. May you enjoy many many years together and some day look back and see the trail of followers you have created.
Much love and prayer for a healthy 2010 and MORE.

PS a firm believer in your product and service! Keep up the development and how to stay on the cutting edge of technology changes. THANKS!
Thank you Kay for your good thoughts and prayers. Craig and I are so appreciative of your business with Propertynut. The key is to get the link to this blog and pass it on to as many people as you know. I have personally had contact with 2 women through this website blog who had questions or just needed a listening ear. Anyone that you can think of to send this link to i.e. women’s organizations, email lists of fellow realtors would be greatly appreciated. Women die from this disease for many reasons but one of the most shocking reasons is lack of education by women and their doctors. Everytime I speak with someone about breast cancer I personally make sure to say Inflammatory Breast Cancer because then that person 99.9 percent of the time will say, “What is Inflammatory Breast Cancer?”
Again anything that you can do to get this blog and the word out that PropertyNut is making a substantial contribution from our marketing of these agents will help us to continue our quest to find a cure.
